Tony Hatch is a legendary composer, producer, and songwriter whose influence on British music and television is nothing short of iconic. With a career spanning over 60 years, Tony is best known for crafting timeless hits and theme tunes that have become part of the nation’s cultural fabric.

As a songwriter and producer, he is behind classics like
Downtown, Don’t Sleep in the Subway, and I Know a Place, written and produced for Petula Clark — one of the most successful collaborations in UK pop history. His songs have been recorded by some of the biggest names in music, including Frank Sinatra, Dolly Parton, Paul McCartney, and David Bowie.

Tony’s music is instantly recognisable to millions thanks to his work in television. He created the original themes for
