BIOGRAPHY

A versatile performer, singer, compère, chat show host, songwriter and Producer, Mark did 6 seasons entertaining all over the world on P&O luxury cruise liners, then started producing his own shows and Summer Spectaculars starring Val Doonican, Keith Harris & Orville, Vince Hill and Ken Dodd to name a few and devised the shows Sunday Night at the Musicals and Mark Andrews Junior Startime, which toured for over 2 years, culminating in a sold-out Grand Finale at the world-famous City Varieties Music Hall in Leeds.

TV appearances include Heartbeat, This Morning, Coronation Street, A Touch of Frost and the role of Howard in ITV's award-winning comedy - Cold Feet.

Cabaret and theatre shows include working with Bradley Walsh, Tom O' Connor, The Nolans, Lonnie Donegan, Jack Jones, and Joe Longthorne.
In June 1998, Mark worked on his first major charity show in the West End, dedicated to the famous MGM musicals, working alongside Hollywood legends: Cyd Charisse, Betty Garrett, Van Johnson, Russ Tamblyn, Arlene Dahl, Rita Gam, Marge Champion & many others.
Other shows include A Royal Gala dedicated to the great Judy Garland, working with Lorna Luft, Larry Adler, Sally Kellerman, Sir John Mills, Vikki Carr, Max Bygraves & Barbara Cook. And a Night of 100 stars at the London Palladium with Stephanie Powers, June Whitfield, Neille Addams, Dave Willets & Les Reed.

A keen songwriter, Mark has also produced over 50 major Pantomimes at theatres across the country and in Dec 2009, was asked to produce a Royal Gala show of entertainment for the official opening of the new Manchester Middleton Arena, and he had the pleasure of compering and introducing the Artists before Her Royal Highness, Sophie the Countess of Wessex.

Other credits include producing Theo the Mouse's Musical Madhouse show and being honoured with the best family Producer of the Year Award in 2011, by the London Encore theatre Awards, presented to him by Bond Girl / Carry On Star Valerie Leon and Dads Army Star - Mrs Fox - Pamela Cundell. Another highlight was in 2013 working on a concert version of the musical 42nd Street with legendary producer Barry Mishon and Gloria Hunniford at the London Palladium for the Caron Keating Foundation, working with stars including Wayne Sleep, Angela Rippon, Brian Conley and Arlene Phillips. From 2013 to the present day, Mark has produced and starred in tours of his highly successful show - The Good Old Days Of Variety, plus Christmas versions and Sunday concerts of the show with many stars including, Billy Pearce, Anita Harris, Jimmy Cricket, Stu Francis, Dana, The Grumbleweeds, Tammy Jones, Johnnie Casson, Bobby Crush, Sheps Banjo Boys, Mick Miller and many more.

Recent projects include producing and compering singing legend, Vince Hill's farewell shows and doing personal Talks on cruise Liners and at venues and hotels throughout the UK, with his new talks on the Hollywood MGM musicals, and a tribute to the GREAT BRITISH COMEDY FILMS.
Mark is very much in demand on cruise ships, presenting his popular talks on show business.
