BIOGRAPHY
Jack Jay is a showman through and through, proudly continuing a rich family legacy in live entertainment while carving out a respected name of his own. As producer and ringmaster of the Hippodrome Circus in Great Yarmouth, one of Britain’s most treasured variety venues, Jack has helped preserve the magic of traditional circus while constantly pushing creative boundaries.
Born into the legendary Jay family, with generations of variety and circus tradition behind him, Jack quite literally grew up in the wings. He took to the stage from a young age and quickly developed a flair for hosting, comedy, and producing. His natural stage presence, quick wit, and rapport with audiences have become trademarks of the Hippodrome’s celebrated summer and Christmas spectaculars.
In addition to his work at the Hippodrome, Jack has expanded into television, voiceover work, and public speaking, sharing his passion for the arts and heritage of live performance. His productions are known for blending the classic with the contemporary, keeping the spirit of variety alive for new generations.
A proud member of the Grand Order of Water Rats, Jack brings energy, innovation, and a deep respect for tradition to the Brotherhood.
