BIOGRAPHY
David Lee is a seasoned producer whose work has shaped British pantomime and theatrical entertainment for nearly fifty years. He has presented over two hundred pantomime productions featuring household-name headliners and delivered lavish floor shows for cruise lines and theatres around the world.
In 1995, David was headhunted by The Rank Organisation to lead their production department for holiday centre entertainment. His work extended across major brands including Butlin’s, Haven and Warner Holidays. As creative director and producer, he also developed a UK tour of Oh Yes It Is – Looney Tunes Live on Stage for Warner Bros.
David’s career spans a range of roles, including producer, director, scriptwriter and composer. Through his company, Pantoni Pantomimes, he has written, composed, and produced for some of the biggest names in entertainment, including Craig Charles, Natalie Imbruglia, Keith Harris and Orville, Spike Milligan and Jon Pertwee.
He was elected into the Grand Order of Water Rats in 2014 as Water Rat No. 782. His membership reflects not only his professional success but also his generous spirit and commitment to the entertainment community.
David Lee remains a leading figure in British family theatre and pantomime. His productions are known for their heart, humour and polish, and his contribution to the stage continues to inspire those who follow. Within the Water Rats, he is valued as a creative force, a loyal brother, and a man who keeps the magic of live entertainment alive.
