Bill Dare is a passionate entertainer and musician best known as part of the Ukay Ukes, a unique musical act that blends high-energy ukulele performance with comedy, harmony and crowd-pleasing showmanship.

With a background in both performance and production, Bill has spent much of his life in and around entertainment. A natural frontman, his warm personality, quick wit and musical flair have made him a favourite on stages across the country. Whether leading a sing-along or delivering a heartfelt melody, he brings audiences together through joy, humour and music.

Ukay Ukes, under Bill’s direction, has performed at theatres, festivals, cabarets and charity galas nationwide. The group’s signature mix of cheeky charm and musical variety makes them a standout act—always fun, always polished, and always leaving a smile behind.

Behind the scenes, Bill is equally committed to the craft. He’s known for supporting fellow performers, helping stage shows, and contributing to the wider entertainment community with generosity and good humour.
