
BIOGRAPHY
Adam Wakeman is a highly accomplished pianist, keyboardist, guitarist and composer, known for his extraordinary versatility across rock, classical, and film music. As the son of legendary musician Rick Wakeman, Adam has carved out his own impressive career on the international stage while continuing the family’s rich musical legacy.
From an early age, Adam showed prodigious talent, performing with his father by the age of 17 and touring with major acts not long after. His career has since seen him perform and record with some of the biggest names in music, including Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, Annie Lennox, Travis, Will Young, and The Company of Snakes.
He is best known for his long-standing work with Ozzy Osbourne, both as a touring and recording musician, and for his role as keyboardist and guitarist on Black Sabbath’s final world tour, The End. His ability to shift seamlessly between hard rock, metal, jazz, and classical piano has earned him respect across genres.
Outside of touring, Adam co-founded the progressive rock band Headspace, as well as composing extensively for television, film and media. His work has appeared in everything from major brand commercials to film scores and documentaries.
Alongside this, Adam and his father, Rick have released several albums together, showcasing their shared musical connection and mutual admiration. Their Wakeman With Wakeman collaborations remain firm fan favourites.
A proud member of the Grand Order of Water Rats, Adam brings a blend of musical excellence, humility and professionalism. Whether commanding a stadium stage or composing behind the scenes, he continues to be one of the UK’s most dynamic and respected musicians.
